About the Book: A Wrinkle in Time is an interesting science-fiction novel about time and space travel. Characters, with the protagonist Meg Murray, use a ‘tesseract’ to move between planets and galaxies. A 'tesseract' is similar to teleportation and time travel. According to it, time can fold or wrinkle in a tesseract, bringing together two distant points in space and time. The tesseract's resemblance to a wrinkle—or fold—means characters travel through a wrinkle in time.
The interesting and quirky characters- Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which and Mrs. Whatsit make the novel a fun read. The narrative is face-paced and unpredictable. There are many meaningful lines and ideas in the novel as well.
“You're given the form, but you have to write the sonnet yourself.”
This is a beautiful quote by Mrs. Whatsit from Chapter 12. It means that life has "a strict form"—certain responsibilities and a limited number of years. But within this form people can create their own lives, with endless possibilities.
Be ready to be transported to a beautiful world of imagination and fantasy when you open this book!
