If you’re looking for a fun, under-hyped book that will keep you hooked for a few hours, I got you! Here are a few books I recently read and enjoyed, with a brief description, and in no particular order. Happy Reading!

Book: Next to You

Author: Hannah Bonam-Young

Tropes: Friends to Lovers, Grumpy x Sunshine

What I Liked about the Book: The two protagonists- Lane and Matt are both layered and nicely written characters. They have chemistry, and the plot is simple and fun. It has a few Taylor Swift references, and a lot of song and book quotes, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was an easy, breezy read!

Book: The Right Move

Author: Liz Tomforde

Tropes: Forced Proximity, Fake Dating

What I Liked about the Book: It comes with its own playlist! While it was a slightly cliché sports romance, it was not boring. It has some very cute moments, including Ryan learning sign language to communicate with Indy’s family. The book has witty banter, and strong characters. Overall, it’s a good one time read!

Number of Pages: 531

Book: From Lukov with Love

Author: Mariana Zapta

Tropes: Enemies to Lovers, Slow Burn

What I liked about the Book: From Lukov with Love is a decent read, with the bond between Ivan and Jasmine evolving slowly and beautifully. While the book is fun to read, it seems to be too redundant at some points, almost dragging on. That being said, the plot and storyline, overall, are interesting, and the ending is satisfying. So, pick this one up only if you enjoy slow burn romances!
