At a time when hope for freedom was hardly visible There was man, who with all his courage, challenged the impossible He realized his dreams and worked towards them with all his might Gandhi ji’s ideals of Ahimsa and equality were certainly right

He inspired many by his life of simplicity He determination, respect and honesty With is ideas, he became the father of the nation He gave the nation the right to fly without any explanation

His ideals and values will never die Even as thought processes change and years pass by Bapu, we are proud to belong to your nation And we promise, you will always be alive in each Indian

"Where there is love there is life."

This line said by Mahatma Gandhi speaks volumes about his character. He led India from the front and marched his way into each Indian's heart. Today, let us all pledge to become a little more empathetic, kind and forgiving.
