Mother Earth's Renaissance: A Hopeful Glimpse into the Future 🌏

A hundred years later…It is 2123. There are flying cars, tall skyscrapers, robots- the cliché idea we have of the future, all our expectations for modernized technology right in front of our eyes. But, wait, what is that?

Amidst the lively city, there lies a mesmerizing sight of greenery. Lush forests, untouched by human hands, thrive harmoniously, while a roaring river flows alongside a strikingly modern building. It is surprising to see such tranquil scenes amid the hustle and bustle of the city. But somehow, the two contradictory landscapes manage to coexist.

We wonder how this happened. How a hundred years from today, the world is so much at peace. We look around, and find our answers.

We notice that all the trash is diligently sorted into recyclable and non-recyclable waste by the people. New technologies have been developed to reuse non-recyclable waste. Bicycles are more common than cars on the roads, and the few cars which are spotted are electric ones.

The people of 2123 take sustainability seriously. They are grateful to their ancestors for being proactive and taking conservation measures at the right time. They take inspiration from their predecessors’ ideals, and use their new and improved technology to support and sustain the ecosystems.

Animals are no longer going extinct. The flora and fauna is growing and blooming in abundance. The air smells sweet, the land looks clean. When asked about this amazing transition, from a dying planet to a thriving one, the people of 2123 are elated to share the secret- each person taking charge of conserving nature. They say it took one century for humans to try and reverse the damage they caused to the earth. Even after they realized the importance of sustainability to ensure stability in the environment, change was gradual. Each and every person, starting from 2023, took charge of the battle against pollution and climate change.

And that is how the balanced world we see in 2123 was created.

The youth of today, of 2023, is rising to make this vision come true. They are marching forward with determination and hope, united in their dream of nurturing Mother Earth, the way it has always nurtured each one of us.

Together, we can make a difference and make this vision a reality!
