Yay! In exactly 3 days from today, on February 17, 2021, I will complete 14 years on Planet Earth. Happy Birthday to me!š„³š
The first thirteen years of my life had been full of enjoyment and learning, but the past one year has been quiet a roller-coaster ride. Though I was at home most of the time, the year was eventful and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. With the endless time I found for myself, I could try my hand at art, music, dance, sports- you name it, Iāve done it. I read lots and lots of books and pursued online courses. I participated in many events and competitions, some of which I won and some I didnāt. I learnt something new each time, nonetheless.
I plan on following the same mantra of living coming year too. Iāll keep doing my best and Iāll keep improving- because as they say, āAlis grave nilā- Nothing is heavy to those who have wings.
I tried to make the most out of each moment and to learn and grow as much as I could. The past one year has given me so many memories I would always cherish. I used technology to do so many things which I would not even have thought of, had it not been for this pandemic. One of these things is starting my blog, āInk in her Hands, Stars in her Eyesā.
I worked for 2 weeks post classes to design the website. After days and days of brainstorming, we decided on a name and then started searching for some pretty picture for the home page. And, by sheer chance, we came across that beautiful picture (scroll up), which seemed to be just perfect. It conveyed the truest message of the blog- reaching for the stars, and not holding back. Then, on May 16, 2020, I made the blog live.
And it has been so great! I have loved each second I have spent working on my blog. Thank you, dear readers, for being by my side all through! I couldnāt have done this without all of you. And we still have a long, long way to go. Keep showering your love, and keep supporting me.
Thank you so much! ā¤š¤
