1. The Whole World being Lit Up
Sparkling lights and sparkling smiles. It seems to be glittering and shimmering everywhere, which is something I enjoy! Isn't it almost like Diwali reminds us to see the light even in the darkest nights?
2. Meeting Friends and Family
Visiting people and catching up with them is always fun. We share sweets, gifts and our thoughts, and time seems to fly by. It is fascinating to see how much changes everytime we visit our loved ones, yet somehow remains exactly the same.
3. Sweets
Sweets. So many delicious, mouth-watering sweets. From rasgullas and gulab jamuns to laddoos and barfis, this is the time to enjoy them all. However, it's good to remember that excess of everything is bad!
4. The Festive Spirit
There is this positivity in the air that makes us all feel warm and fuzzy inside. Decorating our homes, making rangolis, dressing up in traditional outfits- Diwali is definitely one of the brightest parts of the year.
5. Diwali Teaches Us to Give
The festival of lights promotes kindness and empathy. Many of us donate to charities and give gifts to the people who work so hard for us, and help us make our lives easier. Doing so helps make the world a better place.
May this Diwali bring a lot of love, happiness and prosperity into our lives 💞. Wishing everyone a very #HappyDiwali 🪔🤗❤!
