Love at First Sight 🐾

Hi!

I’m Bozzo, Shaina’s furry friend. Today, I’m going to tell you the story of how we met years ago. I was a very tiny, naughty and playful puppy at that time.

Shaina was four years old. She was visiting the beach and enjoying splishing and splashing in the water. I remember seeing her play with rainbow-coloured balloons, and then racing on a cart with her friends. I got excited- it’s not every day that you see a playful kid, balloons and a cart together. Even better, she seemed to have biscuits with her. I was on cloud nine.

I ran towards her at full speed, wagging my tail. In my excitement, I accidently burst her balloons. I was so upset. But, surprisingly, she wasn’t. She turned and stared at me for what seemed like forever. Her look had love, care and compassion in it. And then she smiled at me. “You are so lovable. I want to take you home.” She mumbled.

And that, my friends, is what you call love at first sight.

From that time, Shaina and I have been inseparable. I have always been the first guest at her tea-parties with the dolls and stuffed bunnies. Till today, I’m the first one to greet her when she comes back from school, and her favourite partner for a walk.

I can feel my eyes water as I type this. Shaina has found a companion in me, and I have found a friend for life. I know we will be together for a long, long time.
