My Mom’s Song

I feel talking to my mom is like diving in an ocean full of treasure Stories and events to hear from her give me a lot of pleasure As I look up to her with love, fondness and delight I wait for her to pat me with her hands that set everything right

I look at her and remember how she has been with me at every moment I smile at how her lovely food makes me more than content She taught me how to walk, holding my hand tight She supports me at all times and helps me with all her might

It is she who showers love on me and tells me when I’m wrong And she seems to be singing a beautiful, never-ending song A song that is full of experience and wisdom in all respects It is so fulfilling to have her, I feel life is perfect

I want to be in her arms, I feel safe when she hugs me Her little girl has grown up, she'll be glad to see I will never forget her teachings and lessons I want her to be proud of me, and I promise to give her reasons
