Darkness surrounded me, the going was tough The path was lonely and was rough I heard the loud silence and wanted to cry But I refused to give up, I did try

The sun shines because it burns, myself I told A tigress never stops, she always is bold problems won’t break me, they’ll make me stronger Failures won’t shake me, they’ll make me last longer

They saw me fall, but they also saw me get up again I didn’t wait for the storm to pass but danced in the rain I became a phoenix, I became all I could be ‘Cause the hardest challenge brought out the best in me
