In this great world, there is flora and fauna, microbes and humans Then how come the only destroyers are the homo sapiens? The term ‘homo sapiens’ means the people who can think Then why do the moral values in them, with every generation, shrink?

They have polluted the Earth- the land, water and air The blue sky which was once gazed at is simply not just there Instead of green forests, there are factories all around The different animals once spotted here are nowhere to be found

To make the world a better place, humans were given such brains But instead they have introduced war, suffering and pain They have made their lives complicated with religion, caste and creed Who would have even imagined that humans possess such greed?

To please God by them thousands of prayers are chanted But by this would prosperity and happiness to them be granted? They need to THINK and really mend their ways Because the development caused by destruction would not stay

They need to stop being selfish, and instead be thoughtful Love and sustainability can make for them joyful If they understand and start respecting and conserving nature They would truly be satisfied and safe would be their future
