Music is a constant companion through my highs and my lows

Laughter, the rhythmic rain and the whooshing wind are all music to my ears

Sometimes, a few true words of love are the only tune I want to hear

Heartfelt music, whatever form, never fails to bring on my face a smile

Truly, music surpasses constraints of language and the distance of millions of miles

Often, with music, I develop a strong emotional connect

It makes me feel like I am okay when life is anything but perfect

I believe these beautiful melodies are the threads that bind us all together

For seasons, times and people change, but music is forever
