Even When You Gave it Your All

Even when you gave it your all, and the goals were always in sight When you left no stone unturned, did all you could do right And yet, you did not make it, it did not turn out fine You fought till the end, but couldn’t cross the finish line

It’s okay, it’s not the end of the world, thought it seems to be One day you’ll be grateful this happened, trust me Your effort wasn’t in vain, for you learnt life long lessons After all, it’s the journey that counts, not the destination

So, just brush off the dust, stand up and say, “I may have failed, but I’ll try again, and I’ll be okay.” So, without losing your enthusiasm, bounce back each time you fail The waters may be choppy now, but soon, your ship will smoothly sail
