Chin Up, Blues 💙

I wrote this after the 2023 ODI World Cup Final match, in which India heartbreakingly lost after a splendid WC campaign. High on emotions, like every other Indian that day, all I wanted to convey was that we're always, always very proud of our team!

A maybe, an almost

A so close, yet so far

A dream fulfilled not quite

'We'll get the cup next time, yaar'

Happens. Happens. Happens.

It's alright, we smile through our tears

We are still proud of our tea

for trying, dreaming, chasing, having no fears

For the memories, the moments, the cheers

The breakthroughs, breakdowns, tears

For taking us on this journey of magic

For this story that was anything but tragic

For all this and more, Team India, we say thank you

Team India, through highs and lows, we are with you

Team India, we're proud, today and forever

Chin up, Blues, we won't let our crowns fall. Ever.
