Because I Stumble

In the tranquil waters of the sea, I rowed my boat cheerfully The Sun was shining bright, as I continued carefully When all of a sudden, waves started to rise fierce and fiery I dreaded moving ahead, to say the least, this change was scary

“Just take a deep breath and move on”, myself I told I rowed on, slowly but steadily, feeling brave and bold In the path I stumbled, made wrong decisions and had bad days But I did not give up, for somehow I knew I would be okay

I was no longer afraid of the storm, I patiently learnt how to sail my ship I had no problem in falling, ‘cause I knew how to rise from any hardship As I continue to row my ship from summer to winter and spring to fall I realize that it is only because I stumble that I stand tall
