Every morning in their seamless uniform and combat boots

The protectors of our nation on this soil set out their foot

They do not dream of comfort, they dream of their motherland’s glory

An adventure for most, for them is an everyday story

They lay down their lives for the tricolour in the name of duty

Courage and selflessness is their principle and beauty

Tirelessly, loyally, they fight to defend our nation

They give Mother India the right to fly without any hesitation

They serve the country bravely till their last breath

For the sake of Mother India, they may even beat death

A salute to them who for the tricolour sacrifice their lives readily

Those brave hearts in uniform who consider the whole country their family
